About
Warmth is the oldest comfort there is.
Long before there were remedies and routines, there was warmth — the fire at the end of the day, the warm bath, the hands cupped around something hot on a cold morning. It's the comfort the body understands without being told.
VÄRMEHAUS was built around that single, simple idea: that warmth, made easy and made beautiful, belongs in everyday life — not saved for the spa, not tucked away in a drawer.
The house of warmth.
Värme is the Scandinavian word for warmth. Haus, the home. Together they name what we set out to build — a house of warmth for the body, designed with the restraint and quiet of the best Northern European design. We think comfort should look as good as it feels, so we make warmth you'd be happy to leave out on the side table, in a palette of bone, amber, and ember.
Considered, not complicated.
Most comfort devices are a hassle. They tether you to a wall, ask you to set them up, and end up forgotten in a closet. We think that's backwards. The best comfort is the kind you'll actually reach for — night after night, without a second thought. So everything we make is cordless, simple enough to use without a manual, and warm and considered in the hand rather than cheap or clinical.
Our first piece is a cordless warming wrap for tired feet and ankles — the beginning of a family of warmth for the body, made with the same care, in the same calm register.
What we care about.
We care about restoration over stimulation — the quiet undoing of a long day rather than another thing to optimize. We care about ritual, ease, and restraint. There's a version of this category that shouts, with bright colors and big promises. That's not us. We'd rather make something calm and let it be quietly good.
Warmth, made part of the everyday.
That's the whole of it. We make warmth easy, and we make it beautiful, so it can be a small daily comfort rather than a rare treat. If that's the kind of thing that belongs in your home, we're glad you found us.
